The Gallery

La Mano Mágica is embraced by the ancient adobe walls of a 17th century colonial building in the historic center of Oaxaca. Meander through the first exhibit room showcasing Arnulfo Mendoza’s museum quality weavings. Then, the path leads into the folk art store sparkling with fanciful carved wooden animals, naïf santos, milagro crosses and much more. Just off the enclosed patio, the third exhibit gallery highlights the works of Oaxacan artists, and finally, the last room is dedicated to the applied arts in the form of ceramics and blown glass. The natural light of the interior patio brings out the best in the designs and colors of Arnulfo’s weavings. Gather around the loom, of one of only several skilled weavers that collaborate in Taller Arnulfo Mendoza.
